What is Biofeedback?

Biofeedback training allows an individual to learn a valuable skill: to consciously regulate specific internal body processes normally thought to be automatic.  Think about the things you feel control you...pain, anxiety, stress, etc.  What if you could learn to tune down the pain, quiet the anxiety, manage the stress level?  The quality of life would naturally improve.

HRV Biofeedback teaches you how to do just that. Through the process of biofeedback training -- literally the computerized feed-back loop of moment-to-moment biological shifts and changes as they occur -- the trainee gains control over what previously felt uncontrollable.  Balance is restored.  Health is improved.

Neurofeedback utilizes computerized images to guide brain exercises that facilitate a learning process to correct brain instabilities underlying things like chronic pain, migraine, mood swings, attentional issues, anxiety, sleep disruption, etc.  Learners maintain a relaxed, alert, and focused mental state while the brain is gently guided toward increased stability.

Biofeedback and neurofeedback are non-pharmacological, non-invasive, effective interventions for conditions such as sleep disorders, migraines, tension headaches, chronic pain, the symptoms common to post-traumatic or chronic stress and so much more.
