My personal why—that thing that drives my decisions and choices in life—is to change lives for the better. I strive to leave a person better than when I found them.
That motivation is baked into the business I founded by bringing brain-savvy solutions to better the human condition. We are committed to learning the most effective brain training techniques to facilitate life transformation. We want to help people function better, feel better, focus better, sleep better, think faster, recover faster, relate better, regulate better, and remember better. We measure our success one person, one miracle, one healthy habit at a time. It is in the DNA of business and is at the heart of everything we do.

I've always had a passion for helping people, a passion that started after I contracted a kidney disease as a girl. That kind of experience instills in you a heart for helping others learn how to help themselves, just as I was taught to do. And that's exactly what I get to do everyday. It's amazing to be a part of someone's journey to health and wellness.

I love being able to offer clients hope! I value the opportunity to develop relationships with clients and help them work toward better self-regulation and functioning. I have been on the other side of the coin and know how frustrating it can be to not be able to find help for a family member within the traditional medical model. At Carolinas Biofeedback Clinic I feel that we treat the whole person and we can deliver life changing results with compassion and care.

CBFC has allowed me the opportunity to blend my passion for health and wellness with my 30 year career as a Speech Language Pathologist. I love all things Brain! As a neurofeedback clinician, I am able to bridge gaps in cognition with my clients that I could not reach through traditional therapy.

I have a passion for helping others find hope and healing. My educational background and training in mental health led me to neurofeedback. By seeing the positive impact this had for others to find the healing they desired, I knew I needed to learn more. Biofeedback has opened my eyes to how fascinating, intricate, and self-healing our brain and bodies truly are when we are given the appropriate tools. To me, it is a reward and honor to walk alongside someone as they seek healing and wholeness.

In 2019, I was a sophomore in college with a desire to help people but unsure of the direction I wanted to go after graduating. Not long after I found CBFC and Neurofeedback, a results-driven form of therapy where clinicians aided in clients helping and healing themselves, I knew it was a perfect fit! Neurofeedback has shaped my future and CBFC has grown with me over the past three years as I have shifted from intern to assistant and, as I complete my masters program, a clinician too!

"I love working with children. As a teacher for 18 years, I worked with many children and their families and always seemed to be drawn to the children with behavioral, sensory or developmental challenges. I spent my teaching career specifically helping those families and those students. Now, through the work of NeuroDevelopmental Movement, I am able to continue helping families help their children reach their potential!"
